Adolescence to Adulthood Counseling (AAC) is dedicated to helping our clients, juveniles, adults and families, deal with their emotional, behavioral and addictive behaviors. Ken Hull, the owner and clinical director of AAC, is a licensed professional counselor, has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and has more than 20 years of experience working with troubled youth, adults and families. Adolescence to Adulthood Counseling offers effective and efficient therapy in the following areas:

• Asperger’s, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant, and other juvenile behavior and developmental disorders: Ken Hull is recognized as an experienced therapist with expertise treating clients diagnosed with Aspergers disorder. He is also experienced in treating other juvenile developmental and behavioral issues. His experience goes back to 1990 when he started working with severely delinquent youth placed in the Utah Juvenile Justice System’s secure facility located in Cedar City, Utah.
  
  
• NOJOS Juvenile Sex Offender Outpatient Therapy: Ken Hull is a fully credentialed NOJOS level 1 and 2 therapist. Adolescence to Adulthood Counseling offers a complete range of programs for juveniles with sexual behavior problems that can be treated in and outpatient setting. AAC’s program meets or exceeds the expectations and requirements of the Utah State Juvenile courts.
  
  
• Additional Juvenile Services Offered: AAC offers the following classes specifically designed and taught for minors: cognitive restructuring psycho-educational classes; classes for those with theft and shoplifting charges; and anger management classes. We also offer a class for minors charged with possession of alcohol and/or drugs. We offer individual therapy and specialized classes for minors that have special needs or issues. All treatment plans are always tailored to meet the client’s individual treatment needs.
  
  
• Mood Disorders: As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Ken Hull is experienced and very effective in helping clients, both adults and juveniles, deal with their mood disorders such as anxiety and depression in all of their varying degrees. We will work in conjunction with your Medical Doctor to provide therapy that will increase the effectiveness and benefits of any psychotropic medications that the client may be taking.
  
  
• Substance Abuse Treatment: Adolescence to Adulthood Counseling is a licensed provider for out patient substance abuse treatment for both adults and juveniles. We offer substance abuse assessments, individual therapy, group therapy and psycho-educational classes that meet or exceed the municipal, juvenile and state district court requirements for those ordered to complete this type of treatment.
  
  
• Prime for Life: Adolescence to Adulthood Counseling offers Prime for Life classes to those that are charged with a DUI and are court ordered to complete this class.
  
  
• Adult Sex Offender Therapy: Ken Hull is approved as an affiliate sex offender therapist by the Utah Department of Corrections and can offer a complete Sex Offender outpatient treatment program through his affiliation with an approved Sex Offender Provider in Salt Lake County.

• Free consultation and brief assessment: To make sure that we can meet the clients’ needs before starting therapy, we offer a free 30-minute consultation and brief assessment to all new and returning clients. Our goal is to provide the very best therapeutic experience and outcome possible for our clients. By spending a few minutes up front assessing the client’s needs, we can provide the best service possible and prevent disappointment and wasted time later.
